Kim's Nails: building a connected salon customer and booking system.

Kim's Nails in Stonecrest, Georgia is Mark & Lee's current implementation case study for a reusable nail-salon architecture. The work connects the customer-facing website and conversion experience to an authoritative booking layer rather than creating another isolated appointment calendar.

Business and problem

Kim's Nails is a nail salon in Stonecrest, Georgia. The implementation addresses the need for a clearer customer-facing service and booking journey, secure intake, staff access, and a booking architecture that does not create competing appointment records.

Diagnosis

The customer experience and authoritative booking operation need distinct responsibilities: the public layer explains and converts; the booking layer owns services, staff, availability, and appointments.

Mark & Lee

Customer-facing website, service presentation, conversion flow, secure intake, staff-access experience, and the growth-operations layer around the customer journey.

Nail Source

The intended authoritative booking layer for salon services, staff, schedules, availability, appointments, rescheduling, cancellations, and normalized booking events.

One booking truth

The architecture avoids maintaining competing calendars. Customer-facing experiences read and write through the authoritative booking system once the live integration is enabled.

Work performed and system implemented

Implementation evidence

Repository-backed implementation evidence includes the customer-facing site architecture, bilingual experience, secure application intake, role-based access, booking-integration contract, SEO foundation, and controlled growth-system components. This evidence demonstrates work performed; it does not establish a measured revenue result.

Why this matters beyond one salon

The purpose is not to build a one-off website. Kim's Nails is establishing the repeatable implementation pattern Mark & Lee can configure for additional nail salons while Nail Source supplies the industry-specific booking foundation underneath it.

Outcome and current status

This is an implementation-in-progress case study. Booking integration and operational rollout must be production-validated before they are represented as live capabilities for a new salon. Mark & Lee will publish performance outcomes only after real results are measured; no revenue or conversion improvement is being claimed here yet.
